Back in Brickfields... finally!
The past couple of weeks have been a little surreal. I started to miss my home here at Brick-City and it's soooo nice just to be back here chilling this weekend! :)
Why?
1. Pre-NLDS
Spent an intense weekend and many evenings with an amazing facilitator team (interns, local alumni & international AIESEC members) preparing a great conference for our 300 junior delegates! Fly-by visit from Pearl on her SE-Asia tour was also great - gotta love Luna Bar!
2. NLDS
Living at Universiti Malaya for 5 nights, we worked hard and played hard with the MC team, OC team and 400+ delegates to kickstart AIESEC Malaysia for the next 6 months of activity!!
Some highlights included:
Farewelling our facis from interstate and overseas, emails, sniffles, dinner & houseparty...
4. Singapore!
Jeff and I did a 36 hour trip to Singapore (including 10 hours spent on the bus) for visa reasons and despite being so exhausted from conference it was quite relaxing. I crashed when I came back to KL, but hey :) Great stuff was:
Well, kind of... 5 more weeks in Malaysia with Christmas & New Year in between!
