Yes, unbelievable but true! Just a Christmas Casual job, but hey :)
As of next week I'm going to be working in a jewellery group head office, sorting stock and stuff. I know, it sounds totally exciting *sigh* But it will be nice to work in the same place for a while and get to know the people, and a side of retail that I haven't seen before! After Christmas I'll go back to temp work.
Exciting times :)
In other news... daylight saving has struck. And I'm still thinking about it. It's so weird when you think about it. We're so obsessed with time, which is something that doesn't really exist. I mean, I know it exists in a scientific kind of way, but I think we make a much bigger deal out of it than it really deserves. Everything seems to be about time. Out of time. No time. Extra time. Overtime. Doubletime. Dinner time. Last time. This time. Next time. Find time. Make time. Jeez... and everyone in South Australia, New South Wales, and Victoria has carefully changed their clocks by an hour. So what? What ACTUALLY changes?

I miss daylight saving in Sydney. We don't have it in Brisbane because the cows get confused and the curtains fade.
