So, what's news? Well, I've kept busy for weeks now, which is sooooooo nice! It feels like I'm alive again :)
I've also had some work - yay! Doing electronic filing at the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation. It's semi-interesting, in that I now have some idea of what it takes to export wine. It's boring in that it's basically glorified data entry. It's weird cos Loz has joined a different temping agency, and she's ended up there as well!! What are the chances? Jeez Adelaide is small! There are some good things about living here :) Anyway, the cash flow is great (or will be when I get paid!) so I'm hoping it'll last for a while (the temp assignment AND the money in the bank!). It's also cool because it makes me SUPER busy, and I feel like I'm achieving more.
Oh, I had an interview last week for the BEST job ever (except it's in Adelaide!) and I thought I could have done SUCH an awesome job and learnt heaps as well.... but I didn't get it :'( . Seriously, if there was a job that was designed for me, this was it. Except it's in marketing and I'm more passionate about learning and development ;) But it's marketing international education, so hey! ANYWAY, the bright side is that I don't have to work and study full time next semester (my final one), and I can go overseas anytime that suits me after graduation next year! Office temping pays well, and I'll be available full time over the summer, so hopefully I can save heaps then.
Tuesday night Loz and I went to LCP elections for AU and UniSA. It was the first time in ages that I've been at an election where I don't feel super involved - I'm not close to the candidates, and I won't be working with them for the next year! In some ways it was the same as lots of AIESEC elections though, seeing the passion and the dreams shine through, and nice to see that new generations are coming through that are just as excited as we were (and maybe still are...? I get so excited discussing AIESEC!).
Still going to Salsa & Merengue classes on Friday evenings, and I'm starting to feel more coordinated. I don't know if it's just a feeling or a fact, but I don't care, it's fun & I look forward to the day I can try it out at a latin club! Latinos in Beijing, here I come! :D Laura, Julia & Rhiannon usually go, and sometimes other random AIESEC girls, so it's a nice way to catch up with people too. I think next year I'll go to Funk Club Dance. It's the class I originally wanted to go to but there's no instructor this semester. I'm glad I went to Salsa though, it's kind of sophisticated (well, when the instructors do it anyway!) but still pretty fun and relaxed too.
Anyway, gotta go, hope that wherever you are in the world you have a fantastic weekend :D

Going to Latino's is dangerous for my health. I fear a hip replacement surgery will follow a night of dancing over there! But if one Chinese VP PD can do it... then you have inspired me to try as well!
I'll begin when I start my traineeship in Brazil! (It's not laziness.. it's delaying gratification!!!)
I can back up Pierre and say that yes - there was one night we were all out at Latino's and he was out on the dance floor puttin' the moves on the ladies.
I'm taking some more salsa lessons with my german roomate whose a trainee here in Edmonton...talk about cultural coordination (or lack there of)
